Sweet Baby Ray’s began when Chef Larry refined a family recipe and won a major Chicago rib cook-off in 1985, naming the sauce after his brother David. The brand has expanded from that single sauce into a line of more than thirty barbecue, wing, hot, and dipping sauces sold nationwide. It retains its original motto, The Sauce is the Boss.
